More About Prosper Pine Cottages

We are located just off highway 11 only 3 hours north of Toronto making us a quick and easy getaway to cottage country.

Prosper Pine Cottages rests on the south edge of Callander Ontario only minutes from the city of North Bay. Grocery, beer/liquor store, convenience store, drug store, gas station and restaurants are all available. The city of North Bay is only 10 minutes away where you can find everything a large city has to offer as well as shopping centers, golf courses, night entertainment and more.

Callander Bay and Lake Nipissing have some beautiful scenery with deer, moose, osprey and bald eagles seen from time to time. Most of the shores are well treed making for some fantastic photos.

The lake holds a wide variety of fish. Walleye, perch, bass, pike, and musky are the main sport fish on the lake for the avid fisherman as well as pan fish for the whole family to enjoy.

Ice fishing is very popular on the lake with the season running from January 1st until March 15th. We have some great packages available. Our guests have the luxury of staying in one of our warm fully serviced cottages while being transported each day to their fish hut for a great day on the lake. We like our guest to have all the comforts they need.

We want you to have a great time. Our guests have the benefit of enjoying free use of all leisure beach and lawn equipment and open access to beach and dock area. Please make yourself at home.

We are a pet friendly resort but do insist that your furry family members are on a leash for the comfort of the other guests staying with us, they are cleaned up after and that they remain off the furniture and the beds.

Our guests are responsible for the property. All damages will be billed to the guest. We want you to stay and have a great vacation. We want all our guests to return home safely and ask that children are supervised accordingly. Safety is our main concern; children should not be on or around the beach or dock areas without a parent.
